The towns of Reims. Epernay and Troyes are the commercial centres and ideally situated for those interested in discovering the region.

Reims & Reims Mountains
Reims is home to world-famous champagne houses and their ancient cellars and UNESCO world heritage sites, cut out by hand into enormous galleries of chalk with ceilings 60 feet high. As you drive south into the Montagne de Reims the landscape is dotted with picturesque vineyards and the Champagne Grand Cru villages of Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly, and Bouzy, know for the production of Rosé Champagne.
Epernay & Marne Valley
Epernay is situated in the Marne Valley and home to many famous champagne brand headquarters, which line the Avenue de Champagne allowing Épernay to lay claim to the title of the Capital of Champagne.
Nearby is Hautvillers is the charming Premier Cru village and gravestone of Dom Perignon.
Cote de Blancs & Cote des Bar
The “White Coast” is known for its Chardonnay grapes and Grand Cru producers in Cramant, Avize and Chouilly. Chardonnay is the variety of finesse. It gives floral marks. Blanc de Blancs are made entirely from Chardonnay grapes and tend to be lighter and more delicate in style as opposed to Blanc de Noirs are made from red grapes and tend to be fuller bodied and richer tasting. Further south is the Cote du Bar located in the Aube, and is known for its Pinot Noir, a black skin grape, which thrives in the a cold limestone terrain. These grapes are distinguished by their red berry aromas. Les Riceys produces 3 AOCs. Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and the famous Roses de Riceys a red "still wine" and a favorite of Louis XIV. Troyes is its medieval capital of the region.
