Q: On our Bordeaux vineyard tour day tour should we tour in the Medoc, Saint Emilion or Sauternes?
A: There is no simple answer. Each sub-region is a completely different experiences even if all produce world class wines. The Medoc is home to magnificent castles, Saint Emilion is a picturesque medieval village and Sauternes is for those who love sweet wines. We'll plan an itinerary that matches your preferences.

Q: Can you pick us up from our cruise terminal?
A: We can pick you up from Port Le Verdon or one of the Bordeaux city center ports.

Q: Can we tour any day?
A: No. Most vineyard close on Public holidays and Sundays. During September / October in Bordeaux is the harvest period, so many vineyards are too busy to welcome guests.

Q: How do we select the vineyards we visit?
A: Our in-depth knowledge allows us to customize each trip according to each client's budget, style, and taste preferences based on the request form we receive from you. This is a time consuming process so please be patient. Leave this to us unless there is one specific vineyard you wish to visit and know that they are open to the public. Not all vineyards welcome tourists or have English speaking staff.

Q: How many vineyards can we visit on a private day tour?
A: We usually plan one visit in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

Q: How many tastings are included at each visit?
A: Each vineyard has different offers. Generally a tasting includes a first and 2nd quality recently bottled wine. Vertical and varietal tasting are also possible on request.

Q: Some in our group do not drink
A: Don't drink, taste like a professional, which means smell, sip, swirl, oxygenate and spit. This way you get to educate your palate so in the future if you like the taste and smell of a particular wine, you may want to buy it.

Q: What if miss my train or my boat docks late
A: If you miss your train or arrive late, there will be no refund or change to another day. Your driver will follow the program as close as possible. We strongly advise you to take full coverage and purchase travel and medical insurance. If you are going to be late, or if you can not find them at the meeting point first call or text your driver. Their number is on the voucher / itinerary.
