∙ Difference between single and blended malts and what to look for in a good Whisky

French Whisky:
French Whiskies have only been available for the last 10-20 years. Many French brands are still not exported but they are gaining ground in the Whisky market quickly, which is no surprise given:
∙ The French grow high quality ingredients like Barley and Cereals ∙ Wine, Champagne and Spirit Making savoir-faire. ∙ Long history of distillation of spirits like Cognac, Calvados and Pommeau, ∙ Unique tasting attributes coming from casks used to age Sauterne Wines and Cognac.

The Passport Gourmet Tasting experience is an opportunity to discover a selection of some of these high quality French Brands from which your host will select for your tasting:

Bellvoye - the first and only 100% French Triple Malt aged in oak and sauternes casks.
Aumance - a single grain aged in single Sauterne casks
Bastille - a single malt from AngoulêmeBercloux - a blend aged in 3 different wood casks
Brenne - a single malt made in Cognac
Amorik - malted barley for single malt and wheat for blends from Brittany
Rozelieurs - made from locally grown barley in Lorraine, easy to drink, fruity and spicy, with vanilla notes and slightly smoky, and the only French distillery to work only with peaty malts.

The Passport Gourmet Tasting experience is an opportunity to discover a selection of high quality French Whisky. Select your preferred tasting option and you will be served 4 glasses (2cl each) :

The specific brands served will change according to availability and discretion of your host

∙ 2 person minimum per reservation and minimum age is 18 years.
∙ Same option selection for everyone in your reservation.
∙ Your reservation will be held for 10 mins after the start time after which you become a no show. If you are late at the host's discretion they may 1. Do the tasting / 2. Offer another time slot / 3. Cancel the tasting.

∙ If you are 4 or more people you may request another time slot between 1pm and 5pm but only at the time of booking, which once made can not be modified.
