Chef Bocciarelli invites you to his cozy Truffle restaurant in the 7th arrondissement not far from the Eiffel Tower for a fine Truffle tasting meal with wine and a presentation in English to teach you everything you ever wanted to know about Truffles. He'll explain why they are one of the worlds most expensive delicacies which has earned them the name Black Diamonds.

His restaurant offers truffled salts, peppers, oils, vinegars, sauces, mustards, foie gras, alcohols, cheeses, rice, pasta and various culinary aids for your dishes. He even sells truffles Popcorn.

After leaving a hotel school in Paris, your host chef Bocciarelli always knew that his place would be behind the stove to cook more daring recipes than the others. He took his first steps with 5 star hotels like Eden Roc hotel on the French Riviera and after that 12 years managing the famous Maison de Truffes. At the end of this experience, he developed a passion for this rare and refined product, and created his own brand around the Truffle ten years ago. Chef Bocciarelli will share his passion for Truffles with you.

∙ If you are 10 mins late you may lose your presentation or cooking demonstration. At the discretion of the host you may be offered to stay and pay for the Special Formule without presentation, or return later or another day.

The precious black truffle (tuber melanosporum) known as Périgord is harvested a few centimeters deep from mid-November to mid-March. The Precious Black Truffle (tuber uncinatum) known as Burgundy is harvested almost on the soil surface from October 1st to December 31st. The White Truffle (tuber magnatum pico) known as Alba is harvested to a depth of 80 cm from October 1st to December 31st. The summer truffle (tuber aestivum) is harvested almost on the soil surface from May 1st to October 31st.
